Blood Orange Overnight French Toast
Don’t be fooled by the long prep time for this recipe, this is the perfect thing for anyone who wants to flex their culinary know-how with out flexing their muscles. Perfectly sweet, crispy top filled with soft and fragrant insides, this Blood Orange Overnight French Toast will be an instant hit with everyone you share it with!

- 1-loaf Sourdough Round (any crusty more substantial bread will do)
- 1-.8 oz Blood Orange herbal tea (1 full sample pack)
- 6-Large Eggs
- 2-cups milk (whole or 2% preferred but skim works too)
- 1/2-cup sugar
- 1 tsp-Vanilla extract
- Sweetened Condensed Milk or Maple Syrup to taste
Directions
Add package of Blood Orange tea to Milk. Allow to cold steep in fridge at least 6 hours.
Cut Sourdough Loaf into 1” cubes and fill 9x13 baking dish.
Mix tea infused milk ( do not strain milk), eggs, sugar, and vanilla until combined.
Pour over cubed bread and gently stir to distribute (there will be plenty of liquid in the bottom that will be soaked up by bread overnight).
Cover or wrap baking dish and place in fridge overnight.
In the morning, remove dish from fridge and preheat oven to 350•
Bake for 45 min to 1 hr. until top is crispy and everything has cooked through.
Plate up with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk or a splash of maple syrup if desired.
