Apricot Green Tea Energy Balls

Easy energy balls to keep on hand for a post-workout (or anytime) snack. Filled with healthy fats and dried fruit instead of sugar, they are a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Adagio Apricot Green Tea, steeped in 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup whole almonds
  • 1/2 cup (about 10) dried apricots
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 3 Tbsp (approximately) hemp seed for coating the balls once shaped. (Can substitute finely shredded coconut, almond meal, or even matcha powder for more green tea goodness.)

Directions

Steep tea. Do not strain.

Add almonds to tea to soften nuts before blending.

Add tea, almonds, apricots, and flaxseed to a food processor and process until the mixture is finely ground and holds together when shaped. Scrape sides of food processor bowl often, as needed.

Shape into 1" balls. Roll into hemp seed. Store in refrigerator.
