Hazelnut Dark Chocolate Bites

Tea infused molded dark chocolate melts in your mouth in decadent bite sized pieces. Quick and easy to make whenever you have a craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 TBSP butter
  • 1 1/2 TBPS coconut oil
  • 3 TBPS honeybush hazelnut simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • Simple syrup (will have some leftover)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 oz water
  • 2 tsp honeybush hazelnut tea

Directions

Make the Simple Syrup:

1) Steep tea in water at 212 for five minutes

2) Pour over sugar in a small pot and cook at medium heat until sugar is fully dissolved and is at a vigorous boil for about 3 minutes.

3) Set aside.

Mix Chocolate:

1) Melt butter and coconut oil in small bowl.

2) Add 3 TBSP simple syrup tea mixture.

3) Add cocoa powder.

4) Stir mixture until completely smooth.

5) Pour into silicon chocolate mold.

6) Refrigerate to set.

Makes one bar or one small tray depending on the size of your mold.
