Tart, Tea Tart
Delicious, Delicate, Dainty tea tarts are super easy to prepare.
Only eight ingredients and a muffin pan, makes 24 decadent delights that are certain to excite hearts and tongues!

- 1.5 sticks of butter
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 & 1/4 cup flour
- 2 & 3/4 cups sugar
- 7 eggs
- 1 cup grapefruit juice
- 6 teaspoons Adagio Earl Grey Lavender loose leaf tea
Directions
Preheat oven to 300
Butter sides and botttoms of 24 cupcake pan wells
1 stick unsalted butter add 2tsp loose leaf
Microwave till melted. Let stand 3 minutes to steep tea
In mixing bowl, combine 3/4 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt,
2 cups all purpose flour
Add butter tea mixture
Mix to a loose crumb
then press equal amounts into 24 cupcake wells (about 1/8 c each)
Bake in 300 oven for 5-7 minutes
Meanwhile, separate 3 eggs, discard the whites. Add to 4 whole eggs and passionately whisk with 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice and 4 tsp tea leaves.
Fill cupcake wells with egg filling atop the crumb
Bake at 300 for 22-25 minutes
Let cool, release from pan by sliding a butter knife along the sides and gently lifting.
