Gunpowder Hibiscus Tea

Combining hibiscus with green tea gives it a light fruity taste and flowery aroma. Useful for relaxation and lowering blood pressure (hibiscus).

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. gunpowder tea
  • 3 dry Hawaiian hibiscus flowers (red or yellow)
  • 1 c. spring water

Directions

Steep the tea and flowers for 3 min. Strain and enjoy.

    Very good, almost like a mulled wine kind of tea. I added a bit of mint to mine to offset the tartness of the hibiscus, which can be pretty sour.
