Lavender Lemonade

Lavender lemonade that's actually purple! I always get annoyed when lavender lemonade recipes are purple without anything to actually turn it that color.

Ingredients

1 tbsp lavender lemonade tea
5 butterfly pea flowers
1 1/2 cups lemonade
2 oz water
ice

Directions

Make a concentrate from the tea and butterfly pea flower by steeping them in the water for 5-7 minutes. Pour this over ice, then top up with lemonade. Enjoy!

I did a variation on this. I used actual lavender as well (it doesn't mention that in your recipe, which is a little funny.)

My version started with a tisane about 3 parts butterfly pea flower, 3 parts lavender, 1 part lemon verbena, and 0.5 parts dried mint.

Poured about half tea, half lemonade in the pitcher, along with lemon slices and fresh mint. (And I decided to be a little extra fancy and freeze some of it into cubes so as to not water it down.)
