Shortbread tea cookies
These shortbread tea cookies are a great cookie to enjoy any time of the day. With your favorite teas. You can also freeze them wrapped in parchment paper in an air tight Tupperware container for about 30 days. Enjoy

- 10 TBSP butter room temperature
- 1/2 cup brown sugar(packed)
- 3 TBSP Daydream loose tea leaf ground
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
Directions
Cream the butter, brown sugar and tea leaves together. Scrap side of bowl. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Mix in the flour.
Roll into a 9 inch wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat oven 375 degrees
Place a silicone mat on the baking sheet.
Cut the dough into 1/4 inch slices.
Bake 10 minutes or until bottom is brown.
Enjoy with your favorite tea.
